The first performance of Goalmouth! at The Sage Gateshead combined the musical and physical talents of Korasong Radio from the UK and Mophato Dance Theatre from Botswana, with a cross-generational scratch choir of singers from the North East of England. It facilitated community development on several levels; providing crucial training with world class practitioners for Mophato, as a fledging dance company and an unforgettable opportunity for the singers from a variety of backgrounds to take part in a unique animated choral experiment

The concept has been adapted for projects in Malawi, Botswana and UK. Click for more info.
